George Reeves -- 45
Reeves had a long career in films, initially in featured roles but eventually worked his way up the ladder, being cast as the romantic lead opposite Claudette Colbert in the 1943 WWII movie So Proudly We Hail!. He will always be best remembered for playing the title character in the long-running TV series Adventures of Superman. He also had 2 Broadway credits.
