| thank you for this. i had no desire to see this current production. i saw David Cromer's downtown version 4 or 5 times and that was my introduction to Our Town, having never read or seen it before. It has stayed with me ever since, and the way you have described what's missing from the latest brings back to my mind all the things i loved about seeing it in 2009. when i saw this review for the latest i knew it was a must miss! : "a swift pacing that boils a three-act play down to an intermission-less 105 minutes." | |
