| I continue to hold the opinion that the dimming is, and should be, a "gesture" of the theatre owners and not some democratically-determined result. I think that incorporates the extent of dimming. Regarding the people you mention, I would hope that some gesture might be made for Page. As to Smith, I think there are a couple of reasons there may be no dimming. First, the reality is her appearances on the Broadway stage, while memorable, were not very extensive. Second, she did not leave the last time on the best of terms with at least the largest theatre owner. |
