| There's only about 10 years left on the copyright. I doubt SOOT is performed much. The estate will probably make more money on SOOT from this musical at the Public than it has in years on local productions of the play. The last broadway revival in 2022 was a dud. It's highly unlikely there will be another broadway revival before the copyright expires. And if the musical is good, then that is cash that the estate would never have gotten. if i were the trustee, i'd sign the license. | |
